Preparing for a reading
To insure an optimal reading,
please consider the following guidelines:
The monks who perform the consultations
work
with you in collaboration. Therefore,
prepare
in advance the questions to which you want guidance.
For an
optimum reading, submit your questions the day before your
appointment time - you can pose up to 5 to 6 questions.
Also be
aware that at
the time of your reading,
it is
most helpful to the Lama if you offer possible "answers"
to
those questions. In other words, you should offer choices
of
what you are inclined toward,
rather than a simple yes or no option.
The readings are meant to help you by
determining
your most favorable option(s).
A simple example would be the following:
say you have decided to make a big change in your life.
As choices (or inclinations) you have several options to choose from,
but due to an number of factors, you are not sure which one to pursue.
In this example, you have options
that you are inclined towards.
When participating in a reading, the more inclinations you present,
the more productive your reading will be.
